Inclusion and Diversity
Finding a space to belong and learning about other cultures is all a part of the college experience. Connect with people who can relate to your educational journey, and participate in clubs and organizations that can help you learn even more about your classmates.

Veterans Resources
The Â鶹´«Ã½ salutes veterans and military-affiliated families as we work to be the most military-friendly university in the Upper Midwest. While here, veterans get the resources they need to succeed academically — and the career support needed to thrive after graduation.
We proudly offer Veterans the resources and support to help you maximize your education benefits, succeed academically and thrive after graduation.
Committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is rooted in our Catholic identity at St. Thomas. Archbishop John Ireland founded the Â鶹´«Ã½ for immigrants who weren't welcomed elsewhere. Our convictions call us to protect and enhance the dignity of every human and to work for a more just and equitable society.
We strive to be a university characterized by radical hospitality and are steadfast in our commitment to embedding a shared sense of belonging where all feel welcomed.
Additional Resources
Get Inclusive Training
All first-year and transfer students complete Voices for Change learning lessons provided through our partner, Get Inclusive. This course is used at more than 200 universities across the country and uses scientific-based research to educate students.
St. Thomas students will learn more about our policies while engaging in a short video series, text, and quizzes filled with information related to various topics including bystander intervention, diversity and inclusion, alcohol and other drugs, sexual harassment, and hazing.
Bias Reporting Resources
St. Thomas is committed to providing an inclusive living, learning, and working environment that supports the well-being of each member and respects the dignity of each person. Incidents of hate and bias are inconsistent with the St. Thomas mission and convictions and have no place here.
In the event that you experience or witness a bias or hate incident, we want to address the situation and provide you with resources.
Sexual Misconduct Response
Title IX is a federal law that protects individuals from sex discrimination in any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual misconduct, we can help connect you with resources and support.
This section lists the policies, reporting options and resources associated with sexual misconduct at the Â鶹´«Ã½.
